Initial Assessment


1. Subjective assessment ● Collecting information about your current injury ● Investigation: Mechanism of injury, previous injury history, medical history, current training program and more. ● A provisional (approximate) diagnosis will be formed at this point 2. Assessment and testing hypothesis ● A full physiotherapy objective assessment to test the provisional diagnosis including - Range of motion testing, strength testing, palpation (pressing different points), orthopedic tests and functional movements 3. Treatment, advice, and timelines ● A diagnosis with estimated recovery timeframes ● Evidence-based customised rehabilitation plan with advice ● Activity/training modification to keep you training safely ● Question time - Any questions you may have regarding any of the information provided 4. Personalised plan and program provided ● A follow-up document summarising the session with clear information about the diagnosis and rehab plan will be provided
